Position Overview

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Load the material accordingly as specified in the Production Order.

• Unload the creel on time for the following order.

• Report any material and creel problems in a timely manner.

• Ask the lead person or forklift driver for the materials needed.

• Coordinate with the creel team to maintain the creel. 

• Assemble boxes for RTI use. 

• Attend the weekly communication meetings.

*The Shift Supervisor may select a Creeler to assist with miscellaneous tasks including fire watching, baling waste, dumping empty cones and/or additional housekeeping projects (sweeping or mopping, painting, cleaning parts/equipment).

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

Physical:

• Maintain standing and/or walking most of the shift.

• Able to lift/carry up to 20 lbs to load yarn cones

• Manual skills to splice an average of 1,000 yarn ends per shift.

• Able to go up and down the stairs throughout the shift.

• Able to twist and bend repeatedly

Deberes Esenciales:

• Cargar el material de acuerdo a las especificaciones de la orden de producción.

• Descargar la fileta a tiempo para la siguiente orden.

• Reportar cualquier material y problemas de filetes de manera oportuna.

• Preguntar al líder o al motorista de montacargas por los materiales necesitados.

• Coordinar con el equipo de fileta para mantener la máquina.

• Ensamblar cajas para el uso de RTI (regreso al inventario).

• Atender las reuniones de comunicación semanal.

El supervisor de turno podría seleccionar a un trabajador de fileta para asistir en diversas tareas incluyendo observaciones de fuego, residuos, tirar conos vacíos y/o proyectos adicionales de limpieza (barriendo, trapiando, pintando, limpiando partes/equipo).

Requerimientos de Trabajo:

Fisico:

• Mantenerse de pie y/o caminar durante el turno.

• Capacidad de levantar/cargar hasta 20 libras de carga de conos de hilo.

• Habilidad manual de usar el empalmador (splicer) a un promedio de 1,000 extremos de hilo por turno.

• Capacidad de bajar y subir los escalones durante el turno.

• Capacidad de girar y doblar el cuerpo repetidamente.
