Job Summary:

The Online Goodwill Associate position is responsible for carrying out the functions of the Online Goodwill Department from receipt of the merchandise to shipment of the merchandise. Functions of this position may include scanning and sorting merchandise and selecting merchandise to be listed. This position is also responsible for listing merchandise on online website for sale, stocking listed items and pulling sold items for shipping. The Online Goodwill Associate prepares merchandise daily by packaging and preparing them for shipment to internal (i.e., Retail Department) and external (i.e., buyers) customers.

Job Description

Essential Functions

• Constantly review procedures for cost effectiveness and accuracy.
• Receive sorted merchandise.
• List rare, antique and collectible merchandise on online website or eBay.
• Prepare merchandise for pickup by the Processor Associate.
• Package merchandise for shipment to internal and external customers.
• Train Processor Associates.
• Maintain quality control in the accuracy of all merchandise listings and shipping function.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Be knowledgeable of and comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements, at all times.
• Regular, reliable attendance as defined in Goodwill’s attendance policy.
